We made the Courier Cover!

Catholic Courier photographer, Jeff Witherow, came to Blue and Gold Day where he took some wonderful pictures of this wonderful event. One even made the cover of August's Courier. Two other photos also appeared in this edition on page 19.

Also be sure to read the story on page 16 that talks about how participation in our school class plays helps build confidence in students.

Dear Prospective St. Rita School Families:

Our school is a loving place where the students, our special God Drops, grow in a JOYful atmosphere.  The faculty and staff believe in our ministry to educate the children with a faith centered theme of JOY (Jesus, Others, Yourself).  All of our teachers are New York State certified and our staff includes many additional support personnel including retired St. Rita School teachers who volunteer in the classrooms.  For over 58 years St. Rita School has provided a quality education within a caring Roman Catholic Community.  It is our goal to educate the whole child.  All different learning styles, faiths and ethnicities are embraced.  We are dedicated to making sure that every student becomes a tenacious learner and a strong, faith filled individual.

Communication is most important and considered a fundamental part of our daily routine.  We strive to keep families well informed and welcome their suggestions and input.  We follow the New York State Curriculum, as well as Diocesan Catholic Faith teaching.  It is most important that our students find school to be a loving, caring, and nurturing place where they feel safe, happy, and JOYful every day.

Your child’s education is one of the most important decisions you will make for them.  For the last 58 years we have been working with families to help them invest in their child’s future and provide them with the very best education.

You are most welcome to visit us, to share our JOY and witness our God Drops growing in faith and learning. Please call to arrange a visit 585-671-3132.

Blessings,

Ms. Mary Ellen Wagner
