Kindergarten and Grade 1

This week choose any of all of the three art projects below:

Pick whichever lesson you would like to create or try all 3! Your goal is to have fun and send me a picture of it if you can, I love seeing your artwork !

1. Bring to life an objection from your house...maybe the vacuum or toaster..color it, add a face, arms, legs, wings, antennas , whatever you want. Oh and give it a name and add a speech bubble! Make it as silly as you want.

2. Create a game on paper or with chalk in your driveway. Name your game, use dice to move your objects, which could be coins or toys or yourself if it’s on the driveway like my granddaughter, Addison and I did. Oh, that is Lily , my dog keeping us company in the picture. Name your game and have fun playing it!

3. Gather objects from the kitchen or your room and create a portrait, a picture of a  face. See my samples for inspiration. If you have time draw a picture of your portrait and name it, give it a speech bubble and have it say something funny!

Missing you all, praying that you stay well and that we will return to school soon!

Grade  2 and 3

Below find our Wacky Bird worksheet to have fun creating a variety of wacky birds! Use this worksheet and all these cool parts to make your own unique creations.

Save your Creation in your Art folder to turn in when we go back to school!

Grade 1

Grade 1: Use the 4-step sailboat worksheet to design your sailboat.

Follow the four steps –

Step 1- draw your boat use a ruler or other straight edge object if you need help to make the lines straight.  Step 2 – add the wiggly lines for the water under the boat! Step 3 – add the land behind by drawing the hillside behind your boat. To draw the birds try making a sideways “3” in the sky area and add a simple design on your sail! Step 4 – Add the sun and use crayons or  art supplies you have at home to add color.  Have fun with it! Aren’t we are all looking forward to seeing Sailboats on the Lakes and Bay this summer!

Save your Creation in your Art folder to turn in when we go back to school!

Kindergarten

Take a sheet of paper have a parent help you fold or draw 4 lines top to bottom and 4 lines left to right to left to divide your paper into 25 blocks.

Color each square with a light-colored crayon. Then go back and fill in each with a Capital letter.

Tricky problem: we have 26 letters but only 25 squares which two letters did we fit in one square?

Please save your Creation in your Art folder to turn in when we go back to school!

Task Two

Grade 5

Grade 5 think about something really fun or memorable that you have done in your life.
Maybe a summer or winter experience that you might have done with a family member.
Draw a picture of the event, you can include yourselves or just draw the experience.

Grade 4

Grade 4 using hot or cool colors draw a picture . For example, if you chose hot colors you might design a desert scene using red, yellow and orange. If you design a cool scene it might be a winter scene or a beach scene using greens, blues and purple.

 Grade 3

Grade 3 if you have a ruler use it to create a city skyline. Design about 4 or 5 houses using a variety of doors and windows.

Color them all in  and maybe add a sunset behind them in the sky.

Grade 2

Grade 2 have fun drawing lots of vehicles using shapes. They do not have to be real vehicles , you can design cool, creative ones yourself. Use markers or crayons and maybe add some aliens flying around in the sky or giant fish in the water.

Grade 1

Grade 1: Create a robot from shapes ! Everything on him or her needs to be a shape! Have fun use lots of colors and shapes and add a ground and maybe some mini robots too!

Kindergarten

Kindergarten:  Please have someone trace your hand and arm and trace especially big around your fingers. Draw circles where your nails would be for the flower center. Your fingers are the flower stems and you arm is the vase or flowerpot. See my sample?

Now you make nice big flowers in beautiful colors and at the top write I love you and give it to someone special!
