Hi there, my name is Miss. Hall! This is my first year teaching at St. Rita School. I grew up in Jamestown, NY.  I moved to the Rochester area about three years ago and now live in Farmington, NY. I went to Nazareth College and I have a Masters in Inclusive Early Childhood Education and BS in Secondary Family & Consumer Sciences.  That is the fancy way of saying Home Economics.  I believe soft skills or life skills are essential building blocks to learn which is what appealed to me through Home Economics.  I have three NYS teacher certifications that include; Family & Consumer Sciences Secondary Education, Special Education, & Birth-Grade Two.

I've always known I wanted to be a teacher.  When I was little, I would play school with a chalkboard, red pen, and all that sort of stuff.  I have worked in childcare all my life.  I have nannied, babysat, gone on vacations with families, and worked at daycares for about 6 years.  It is truly a dream come true to be working at St. Rita.  Teaching comes naturally and I love children.

I enjoy gardening, arts & crafts, watching movies, and spending time with my family.

I was raised Catholic but haven't currently been practicing.  So, it's very exciting to get back to my roots in Catholicism.  I was baptized, had the first communion, and confirmed.  My mother taught CCD.  Our family was very involved in the church growing up.  We attended mass regularly, had Bible studies, and prayer groups.

I am so eager and excited to be teaching your children while we learn and grow together this year.  Relationships are incredibly important to me so rest assured your children are in good hands.  I treat them as if they're family.  We will be learning all kinds of fun things through a child-centered approach using play and hands-on activities.
